Dividing Up the Personal Belongings |
This worksheet
below is designed to permit
the parties to list each room in their residence and all of the property
contained in that room. It is a fast and easy way to identify all of the
items in the home and helps prevent one spouse from "forgetting" about a
particular item. List each item and place a check-mark in the appropriate
column as to will will retain possession. If it is a higher value item,
assign a value to it and balance the worksheet between the two of you.
Typically, this
form is used by the couples only as most can divide personal
belongings equitably without mediator assistance.
